Objective: Empower children with the knowledge and skills to create their own safety plans, helping them to recognize and respond to potentially dangerous situations.

Paper
Crayons, pencil crayons or markers

Instructions

Draw a map of your neighborhood or your school.
Mark the safe places you can go if you ever feel scared, like your home, a friend's house, or the school office.
Write down the names and phone numbers of trusted adults you can call in an emergency.
Practice what you would do if a stranger approached you, role-playing with a parent, caregiver, sibling or friend.
