3rd-5th Grade Activity: personal space bubbles

Objective: Teach children about personal space and respecting others' boundaries.

Materials

  • Hula hoops or pieces of string to create circles 

Instructions

  • Discuss the concept of personal space and why it’s important.
  • Have each child stand inside a hula hoop or circle made of string to represent their personal space bubble.
  • Ask children to move around while keeping their bubbles from touching others' bubbles.
