K-2nd Grade Activity: Safety circle

Objective: Teach children who they can trust in their circle.

Materials

  • Paper
  • Crayons, pencil crayons or markers

Instructions

  • Draw a big circle on the paper.
  • Inside the circle, draw pictures of people you trust, like your parents, teachers, or close friends.
  • Outside the circle, draw or write things that make you feel unsafe or unsure.
  • Talk about how you can always go to the people inside your circle if you feel scared or need help.
