K-2nd Grade Activity: Safe vs. Unsafe

Objective: Teach children to differentiate between safe and unsafe situations.

Materials

  • Print out the below scenarios
  • Marbles
  • Two baskets labeled "Safe" and "Unsafe"

Instructions

  • Read each scenario to the children and ask them to decide if the situation is safe or unsafe.
  • Have the children place a marble in the appropriate basket.
  • Discuss each scenario and explain why it is safe or unsafe.
